Hi, I'm Gi, the creator of Paint and Sip Bali. I created this space with only one goal in mind: to create joy! 🌟 For much of my life, I, like many others, completely underestimated my own creative potential. I avoided art, believing it required a level of mastery I simply didn't possess. This belief actually bled into my everyday life—I would dress in all black or grey because I didn’t believe I was creative enough to pull off colorful outfits, and I would actively avoid creative workshops even though I was secretly drawn to them. But something shifted when I finally realized that creativity comes in many forms. My creative power manifests in my ability to direct and create experiences that delight and surprise people. I discovered a wellspring of creativity I never knew existed—a realization that ignited a passion I felt compelled to share. That is the driving force behind Paint & Sip Bali. I envisioned a welcoming, vibrant space in the heart of Ubud where individuals could experience their own creativity, regardless of their artistic background. A space where art becomes a journey of self-discovery, expression, and above all, a source of healing and joy. ✨
Building this studio was a labor of love. I obsessed over every single detail of the creation process so you don't have to. From hand-picking the absolute best brushes and premium paints to sourcing high-quality rollable canvases (so you can safely fly your masterpiece home without ruining it), everything was designed with your experience in mind. We also made sure that joy is accessible to everyone, ensuring our studio and all of our classes are 100% family-friendly and welcoming for all ages! ⭐
We break the rules of traditional Paint & Sip events. In a standard class, you just follow the instructor, and everyone's paintings end up looking exactly the same. We do things differently. We focus on technique and 1:1 attention, allowing you to actually experience your own creativity. Our guides are there to help you bring your unique vision to life, ensuring everyone leaves with a piece of art that is truly their own creation.

Painting is part of what we do, but the heart of the studio is creative discovery. We host incense making, candle making, self-expression workshops, group events, and custom art experiences designed to help people reconnect with themselves and each other. Some guests come for a fun activity, some come for a family memory, and some come because making something with their hands feels grounding after days of travel.
Ubud is a natural home for creativity. It brings together travelers, artists, families, wellness communities, and retreat groups. Our studio was built to fit that spirit: relaxed, warm, expressive, and accessible even if you have never taken an art class before.
We want every guest to feel safe trying, free to make imperfect art, and proud of the moment they created. Our workshops are softly guided, not rigid. You can follow a template, change the colors, add your own details, or go completely freestyle.
